Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sightline website and service ("Service") operated by Sightline ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. One person may not maintain more than one free account.

2. Subscription and Billing

Sightline is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate shown at time of purchase. All fees are in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

If your payment fails, we will attempt to notify you by email. Access to the Service may be suspended until payment is received.

4. Prospect Data and Public Information

Sightline retrieves publicly available business information to generate prospect scores and reports. This data is sourced from public websites, directories, and APIs. We do not access private business systems, customer data, or confidential information. You agree to use prospect information obtained through Sightline in compliance with all applicable laws, including anti-spam and privacy regulations.

5. AI-Generated Content

Sightline uses AI to generate pitch documents and analysis. AI-generated content is provided "as-is" for informational purposes. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using it in any communication or presentation. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated outputs.

6. Intellectual Property

The Sightline platform, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you upload to the Service. You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sightline and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the prospect data or AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
